Bebop Records specializes in original vintage jazz pressings. Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about orders, shipping, grading, returns, and more.

Orders & Stock

Are the listings synced with eBay?
Many items are listed both on eBay and our site. We update inventory regularly, but occasionally an item may sell before the sync completes. In that case, we’ll notify you immediately and issue a full refund.

Can I combine or change my order?
If your order has not shipped yet, we can combine or adjust it. Please send us your order number or product link through the contact form.

How long until my order ships?
Orders usually ship within 1–2 business days. During travel or events, shipping may be slightly delayed. If you need urgent handling, please reach out before purchase.

Shipping & Packing

How do you pack records?
To prevent seam splits, we usually ship the vinyl outside the jacket, in a protective inner sleeve, inside a sturdy record mailer. High-value items may be double-boxed with corner protection and signature confirmation.

What shipping options are available?
Within the US we mainly use USPS or UPS. For international orders we ship via USPS, UPS, or DHL. If you prefer a specific carrier or speed, let us know before checkout.

Do you provide tracking and insurance?
All shipments include tracking. Insurance and signature confirmation are available for higher-value packages upon request.

Grading & Play

What grading standards do you use?
We follow Goldmine/Discogs standards, with additional details noted such as light scuffs, audible noise, or playback comments. Grades like VG+, Strong VG, or NM− are commonly used.

Can I request extra photos or sound clips?
Yes. We can provide close-ups of labels, runouts, jackets, or short audio/video samples. Please contact us with the item link.

Do you clean the records before shipping?
Basic cleaning is performed before shipping. Professional ultrasonic cleaning can be arranged as an additional service if requested.

International Shipping

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Available services vary by country. If checkout doesn’t show an option for your region, contact us for a quote.

Who is responsible for customs and duties?
Import duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check your country’s regulations before ordering.

Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Available methods will appear at checkout.

What currency are prices listed in?
All prices are in USD. Sales tax may apply for US orders depending on your state. International orders usually do not include US sales tax.

Returns

What is your return policy?
If the item is significantly different from its description, please contact us within a reasonable time after delivery. Once confirmed, we’ll provide return instructions and issue a refund.

What if the item is damaged or lost?
Please keep all packaging and take photos if damage or loss is suspected. Contact us immediately so we can file a claim and resolve the issue quickly.

Can you reserve an item?
Short-term holds may be available upon request. For high-value items we may require a deposit.

Do you accept offers?
Reasonable offers are welcome on some listings. Bundle deals are often possible—feel free to ask.
